Experience: 4+ Years working at a Broker/Proprietary Trading Firm
Responsibilities • Establish and maintain comprehensive infrastructure architecture, including standards, policies, and best practices.
• Oversee and coordinate all aspects of infrastructure management (Servers, Networks, Cloud, Security) and liaise with third-party vendors/exchanges.
• Implement a support framework for change, availability, capacity, asset, and configuration management, ensuring security and compliance.
• Optimize trading hardware (servers, networks) for low-latency performance and future scalability.
• Lead and guide teams on project delivery, resolving bottlenecks and security concerns while ensuring smooth implementation of new infrastructure initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
• 4+ Years experience working in the IT department of a stockbroker (HFT preferred)
• Bachelors/Master's degree in IT-related field
• Experience with low latency switches/NICs and a general broader understanding of latency-based problem-solving at HFTs
• Pre-knowledge and server maintenance experience at NSE colocation
• Passion for problem-solving with a track record.
